Apple at its iPhone 11 launch event launched a new iPad model — the iPad (10.2-inch). Powered by the Apple A10 Fusion SoC, the new iPad features a 10.2-inch Retina display. The new Apple tablet is made with 100 percent recycled aluminium and features a Smart Connector for the Smart Keyboard, as well as support for the first-generation Apple Pencil. The iPad 10.2-inch will go up for pre-orders from today itself in the US, and will start shipping later this month. Apple also revealed the iPad (10.2-inch) price in India, though availability details are uncertain for now.

The iPad 10.2 (2019) runs iPadOS, and sports a 10.2-inch Retina IPS display with a resolution of 2160×1620 pixels, a pixel density of 264ppi, and a 500-nit peak brightness. The iPad also supports the Apple Pencil (first generation). It is powered by the Apple A10 Fusion SoC, alongside the M10 coprocessor. It will be available in two storage options — 32GB and 128GB. It features an 8-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it bears 1.2-megapixel camera with an f/.2 aperture.
Connectivity options on the iPad (2019) include Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth v4.0, with the Wi-Fi + Celluar model also gaining GPS and LTE connectivity, as well as Wi-Fi calling, thanks to its Nano-SIM card slot and eSIM tech. It features stereo speakers and dual microphones.
The iPad 10.2 (2019) features a Touch ID fingerprint sensor on the bottom bezel, a three-axis gyroscope, an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and a barometer. There is also a digital compass on board. It is powered by a 32Whr battery rated to deliver up to 10 hours of Web surfing time on Wi-Fi, and 9 hours on a cellular network.
The iPad 10.2 (2019) price in India starts at Rs. 29,900 for its Wi-Fi only, 32GB storage base model, while the 128GB Wi-Fi only model is priced Rs. 37,900. The Wi-Fi + Cellular model starts at Rs. 40,900 for the 32GB variant, while the 128GB Wi-Fi + Cellular model is priced at Rs. 48,900.
