The update allows you to set YouTube Music songs, albums, and playlists as the wake-up sound, but best of all, you can set your alarm to “Your Mixtape” which will wake you up with new music you love every day. The update is slowly rolling out, and I for one cannot wait for it to hit my devices, as this will make alarms on the road away from my Google Assistant speakers far more pleasant.

If you combine YouTube Music with a YouTube Red account (YouTube’s premium service), you can enjoy a music app that’s very similar to Spotify or Deezer, which means you can listen to millions of songs from thousands of artists, without any ads.
The app also has some exclusive features, like the ability to access customized stations and discover new artists.
YOUTUBE PREMIUM AND YOUTUBE MUSIC ARE COMING MAY 22
Google just announced some important changes for its video platform with the arrival of two new paid services that will add exclusive features to the platform. YouTube Red will now be called YouTube Premium, while the variant focused on music will be called YouTube Music. We already know which countries will have it available and how much it will cost in each one.
